Cloud Platform Engineering

Build cloud platforms that scale predictably, recover automatically, and cost what they should.

Overview

Aadyora designs and operates cloud platforms for organizations that have outgrown ad-hoc infrastructure. We treat the platform itself as a product — with developer experience, reliability, security, and cost as first-class requirements.

Our engagements span greenfield architecture, lift-and-shift migrations, re-platforming onto Kubernetes, and gradual modernization from monolith to service mesh. We work across AWS, GCP, Azure, and hybrid environments, and we optimize for your team’s skill mix — not for a tool we are reselling.

Every platform we ship comes with IaC, golden paths, paved-road templates, and observability baked in — so application teams can ship safely without needing platform expertise.

What we deliver

Cloud Migration & Modernization

Assessment, wave planning, and execution for moving workloads to AWS, GCP, or Azure — including re-architecture from VMs to containers, serverless, or managed services where it pays back.

Kubernetes & Container Platforms

Production-grade EKS / GKE / AKS clusters with GitOps, service mesh, multi-tenancy, autoscaling, and disaster recovery patterns proven across customer environments.

Infrastructure as Code

Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK modules organized for safe team collaboration, drift detection, and policy-as-code with OPA / Sentinel.

Multi-Region Resilience

Active-active, active-passive, and pilot-light architectures with documented RTO/RPO, tested failover runbooks, and chaos engineering practice.

FinOps & Cost Optimization

Reserved instance and savings plan strategy, right-sizing, idle resource cleanup, and showback dashboards. Typical 25–40% reductions in 90 days.

Platform Engineering & Internal Developer Platforms

Self-service developer portals, paved-road templates, ephemeral environments, and policy guardrails — so application teams ship faster without filing tickets.

Outcomes you can expect

How we engage

1. Assess

Discovery of current workloads, dependencies, costs, and team capabilities. Total cost of ownership modeled for each migration option.

2. Design

Reference architecture, landing zones, networking, IAM, and security baselines. Documented decisions with trade-offs.

3. Build

IaC modules, CI/CD pipelines, observability stack, and paved-road templates. All in version control, peer-reviewed, tested.

4. Migrate

Wave-by-wave migration with rollback plans, dual-running where needed, and clear cutover criteria.

5. Operate

Knowledge transfer, on-call enablement, and optional managed operations retainer.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with all three major clouds?

Yes — AWS, GCP, and Azure. We also work in hybrid and on-premise environments using Kubernetes and open-source tooling. We will recommend the right fit based on your existing investments, regulatory needs, and workload characteristics.

Can you take over operations after the platform is built?

Yes, via a managed services retainer. Many customers prefer to build with us, then have us run a tier-1 or tier-2 operations function for 12–24 months while their internal team levels up.

How long does a typical cloud migration take?

Small estates (under 50 workloads): 8–16 weeks. Mid-size estates (50–250 workloads): 4–9 months. Enterprise migrations: 12–24 months in phased waves. Timelines depend more on application complexity than workload count.

How do you reduce cloud costs without hurting performance?

Right-sizing based on real telemetry, commitment planning (RIs, Savings Plans, CUDs), idle resource cleanup, storage tiering, network egress optimization, and architectural changes (e.g., spot for batch). We measure before and after on the same workload.
